Vaidik Research Library

A Vaidik Research Library will be an integral part of the project.

Our aim is to spread the message of Geeta to all the sections of the society.  To serve this purpose, Geeta Bhavan is the most appropriate place.  Here, the recitation of Geeta will be taught along with suitable short discourses.  The trust has also planned for exhaustive studies of the Bhagawad Geeta with the help of scholars.

We intend to publish small booklets of approximately 50 pages on various topics related to religion and Indian Philosophy.  They will also cover short biographies and teachings of saints from all over India. Topics of general interest like festivals, daily worship, and periodical worship will also be dealt with.  These publications will be in Marathi, Hindi and English language and will be written and Published in very simple and lucid language so that they reach the masses.

To serve an academic purpose, (the trust proposes to locate in the proposed Geeta Bhavan) a Research Library will consist of books on varied topics, but with a special reference to religion and Indian philosophy. Various Research projects will be undertaken by the trust under the guidance of scholars. Facility for the residential accommodation will be provided to the students of research library at Geeta Bhavan.

To catch up with the present pace of knowledge latest Computed Technologies & method will be adopted.

The whole area of ‘Dharmakshetra’ where the ‘Geeta Bhavan’ is proposed to be constructed is serene and peaceful and is highly suitable for the devotional purposes.  The inspiration for all the activities of trust is our Guru, late Poojya Leelatai Karve, who selflessly carried the spiritual mission of spreading Lord Krishna’s message all over the world.  We the trustees are hopeful that, with her blessings, our dream of Geeta Bhavan will be a reality soon.

To make this dream a reality, the trust counts upon generous support and patronage of the people.
